The Pomme Pomme Girls love their special holidays. This year they celebrated Chri/august.
Ice, snow and zero temperatures last winter prevented the Pommes from getting together to open Christmas presents in December and January and February and March. Then the Head Pomme, Norma, got a bit sickly in the spring. So, the PP Girls waited for warm weather. In fact, they waited a little too long. The 100+ degree July temperatures kept them from venturing outside until the weather cooled off. In August, Pomme DJ was beginning to enjoy the 70s (that's years, not degrees)so the three met at 54th Street for lunch the day after her birthday.
The Head Pomme wondered why the other two Pommes insisted on going to54th Street to eat. But when she opened her presents after the server took their orders, she learned that Santa Barney had given each Girl a 54th Street gift certificate for Christmas. Unfortunately, the 70s Girl forgot to bring hers. Oh, well. Fa-la-la-la-la.
